Nissan: Murano New in sight?

With the prototype Resonance, the Japanese could anticipate the next generation of its 'crossover' luxury.



Until the beginning of next week, on 14 and 15 - we can not know what the new Cadillac ELR or prototype Hyundai HCD-14 Concept. For now, brands have unveiled their silhouettes in anticipation of its presentation at the Detroit Auto Show (NAIAS 2013). And so is Nissan, which has just released the first signs of crossover Resonance, a concept car that, according to some media, advancing what the next generation Murano.

As seen in this first picture, Nissan proposes a prototype sporty profile, a high beltline and rear light clusters based LEDs. As for the powertrain, the British Autocar suggest a hybrid scheme consisting of a gasoline engine and an electric motor.

They also highlight that it is possible that the new Murano is fully developed by the end of this year, but would not arrive in showrooms until 2014, and that its production could take place in a U.S. plant.
